Goals 0
As I sit here waiting for my p90x package to hit the next UPS checkpoint, I’ve given to reflecting on what my goals are for the 90 day period of dedication to p90x. Goals are a great thing to have when undertaking something that requires so much dedication. They give you a reason to take that dedication. They give you motivation to keep going, even when things are getting you down, or you’re tired and just want to quit.
So I thought about my goals. I think they are fairly simple goals, but achievable. I’ve set them as pairs of goals. One goal is a realistic goal, which is completely doable. The other is a “stretch” goal which is something that is possible, though I may not get completely there in 90 days. Here they are in no particular order:
- Realistic: Increase my upper body strength
- Stretch: Be able to do a straddled planche on the trapeze
- Realistic: Feel Comfortable being shirtless around friends (at the pool)
- Stretch: Feel Comfortable being shirtless in public (at the beach)
I may decide to add more at a later time, but I really do think this is a good set of goals for 90 days. I can’t wait to start p90x when it gets here.
